ORGANISATION: Rangitikei District
PROJECT:District Council Identity
ABOUT:

The brief was to create awareness of the Rangitikei District as a unique visitor destination in terms of the districts green environment, natural untamed beauty, isolation and adventurous spirit. The solution draws on the nostalgia and positive feelings resulting from the environment and community. The Rangitikei identity could be labeled as ‘New Zealand Retrographic’. The typography is borrowed from a romanticised era in New Zealand’s past as seen in signage and packaging of every day products. The illustration is an idealised image of the Rangitikei landscape.
