ORGANISATION: Nike
PROJECT:Womens' Challenge 8km Run
ABOUT:

The brief was to develop an identity that women of all ages, abilities and backgrounds could relate to. It had to communicate that this is an event that celebrates and encourages women taking part whether they run, jog or walk. The logomark, a female gender sign, is made up of women’s shoes that appear as if they have been taken off and thrown on the ground as you would after having completed an 8km run. The different types of shoes illustrate the many and varied women, abilities and reasons for participating - a running shoe, cross trainer, sneaker. The wordmark is shown to be feminine yet gritty.
